TAKE YOUR KIDS - @LythgoePanto BEAUTY & THE BEAST CHRISTMAS ROSE

LAST NIGHT WAS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE...
some might even say a bit magical!

Our tickets were provided by the company free of charge for us to do this review/feature.  I was not offered any monetary compensation by posting my honest opinion about the musical and our experience for the evening.

Let me start at the beginning...
When the kids got home from school yesterday, we got a little bit "dressed up" and hopped in the car for a little road trip to Pasadena for an evening with the theater.
There were tickets waiting for us at "Will Call" in the Pasadena Civic Center...because we had a very special event to attend!
We even got to walk the RED CARPET before the event started!
My heart may have beat out of my chest a little when I saw the smiles on their faces, as they had their chance to take a picture on this red carpet.  They truly felt like VIP's!
And we spotted "The Beast" Jonah Platt on the RED CARPET too, doing an interview before his big performance.
Before the show, we enjoyed all the pre-show fun set up in the lobby.
They had crafts, a hair station from @RockYourHair and my little guy got his face painted too!
Then, we found our seats...which were AWESOME!
We had no one behind us (I was delighted), so my kids could kneel or stand even to see over other's heads.  The theater was full of parents & small kids...for this amazing OPENING NIGHT!
Yes, I said SMALL CHILDREN!
Babies, toddlers and small children filled this theater with noise and life!
It was not quiet, but that's part of the fun for this type of show and performance.
These Pantos style shows are interactive & so much fun.
They want you to sing and shout and be a part of the show yourself.
TRUST ME...your kids will love it!
To say my kids were EXCITED about being a part of this opening night is an understatement.
They were all into the show.  Even my oldest two were singing along with songs they recognized (because this show uses music that is trendy to now) and cheering & booing too.
Seeing my kids have so much fun with an experience like this makes my heart beat extra!

BEAUTY & THE BEAST, A CHRISTMAS ROSE  is the American Panto version based on the Beauty and the the Beast fairytale written by Madame de Villeneuve. The show includes singing, dancing, interactive fun and songs from Coldplay, Maroon 5, The BeeGees and Imagine Dragons.

My oldest son said he loved all the witty puns in the show that had us all giggling.  He was slapping his knee and cracking up!

My oldest daughter loved that they didn't use any traditional BEAUTY & THE BEAST music in the show.  They used music that is trendy today that is relevant for the scenes throughout the program.

My youngest daughter's favorite part was when Belle & The Beast dance in the ballroom.  A classic moment for Beauty & the Beast

My youngest son said his favorite part was when the wolves were dancing around Belle and the Beast takes care of each one, in slow motion, as he fights them off.  He thought that was so cool!
THIS SHOW IS AMAZING and SO MUCH FUN!
ALL FOUR KIDS LOVED IT!  LOVED IT!
Despite the fact that there were a few bumps with microphones & such (it was the first night & first show)...we enjoyed every single second of it!  They even brought children with GOLDEN TICKETS (their parents paid a little extra) on stage to be a part of the show.
My kids thought that was awesome too.
We were thrilled and honored to have the chance to see this impressive show.
If you're looking for something fun to do with your kids before CHRISTMAS and you live local, you should consider buying tickets and taking the WHOLE FAMILY to this show!
It's so worth it!

THIS WAS A SHOW & EXPERIENCE MY KIDS WILL NEVER FORGET!

I was not paid to feature this post! I was compensated only by the tickets that were provided for our family so we could attend this event!  No monetary compensation was provided.

    1. The show itself is about 2 hours long. There is an intermission half the way through, as with any Musical/Play. The opening night took a little longer, because they did an intro/kick off/fundraiser speech. Your kids will be so excited to be a part of this...it's so much fun! The music, the colors & lights, all of it! ENJOY and Merry Christmas!
