I BARELY SURVIVED - My First Spin-Sculpt Class @MyGarageFit

Our wedding is only a few months away!  

I AM SO EXCITED!!

But with that being said, our honeymoon is only a few months away too (as well as summer, etc.) and I want to look toned and fit for all of the above.

I was not paid to feature this post!  I was not compensated in any way by posting my honest opinion about the class I attended today.  This class was offered free to the community to raise interest in membership for the club.

My neighbor across the street is a fitness BUFF!  She's a personal trainer, has an amazingly toned & tight body, is a mommy herself, and encourages me constantly to come try out some of her classes.  I smile, nod and tell her thanks for the offer...but so far, I've never gone to anything she's offered to me.

The truth is...I'm a total wimp!  
I HATE EXCERCISING!  
I always have hated doing anything that brings pain to my body (even good pain...because I know that I need to be physicially fit).  
Today, she talked me into it!  She was teaching a new Spin-Sculpt class at 9:30 and I had to come! There's a new health & fitness place opening up in our town, she was teaching the class and I decided to finally take a class she was offering me yet again.    

I'll admit, I almost cancelled!  I thought about it and talked myself out of it!  I knew I needed to do this for myself!  I'm glad I did!  
It's 30 minutes of spinning!  Now I'm not talking about taking a slow bike ride around town.  I'm talking about sweat dripping down your forehead, loud music pumping, and Jamie's voice encouraging you to push through the hurt and DO IT!  I made it...barely!  I may not have been able to keep up with all the "levels of tension" that we were supposed to increase on the bike, or standing up and peddling as much as everyone else did, but I never stopped peddling...and for that, I was hnnappy & proud of myself.
The second half of the class is the SCULPT part.  This is the part that focuses on body part toning...such as your legs, arms and booty.
With a medicine ball, a yoga mat and an instructor encouraging you to tighten those areas, we sweated and pushed through the class.  I will admit, I had to stop and grab water a couple times during this part (next time I will bring a water bottle with me)...because, to be honest, it HURTS!  All those muscles I've neglected are saying, "HELLO!"  My heart rate was getting up a little too high and I had to breath and slow it down so I wouldn't pass out.  But...I made it through!

TOMORROW...I probably won't be able to walk or pick anything up with my arms.  But...I did the class and it was fun and I am proud of myself for pushing through and actually going.  

Who knows...maybe this will be a new thing for me!  
If nothing else, my bathing suit will fit a little bit better for the honeymoon!
